Beyonce seems to be much occupied lately. She appears on Billboard twice in a month, gets Billboards’ first ever Millennium Award and prepares to launch a new album, called “4”, that will be released on June 28. Now the 29-year-old singer and actress covers most of the magazine’s July issues. After appearing on Dazed & Confused, Essence, and ‘W’ Magazine, now she covers the July/August issue of L’Uomo Vogue. Lensed by Italian fashion photographer Francesco Carrozzini and styled by Rushka Bergman, Beyonce strikes a gorgeous pose, revealing her sexy side. She looks quite seductive even in a more masculine style, wearing a jacket shirt and bowtie by Dior Homme, waistcoat by Corneliani, Acne shorts and shoes by Tom Ford.
Beyonce also covers “Essence” magazine. In the cover story, titled “Eat, Play, Love”, she talks about visiting Egypt and seeing the pyramids, taking a break and about the lessons she had learnt from her mom.
About her nine-month break, she says:
“I had talked about taking a vacation before, but always ended up in the studio after two weeks, so no one believed me. This time, though, I was serious. I was going to give myself a year to do the things I never get to do. Simple things like play with my nephew, pick him up from school, visit museums, go to concerts, see some Broadway shows, learn to cook a meal and spend time with my husband… Yes, I needed some relaxation, but I wanted inspiration too, from regular everyday things. They did not have to be over-the-top productions. I was looking for tiny moments that would speak to my heart and make me smile…”
For the cover of Dazed & Confused, Beyonce comes in a bright Givenchy sweatshirt paired with a leopard-printed bra, and high-waisted pants, holding a melting ice-cream in her hand. When she spoke about the time she needed to stay away from showbiz and music, she said: “I needed some time to live. I’ve been signed to the same label since I was 12 years old and never had more than a month and a half off since I was 13. I’ve worked so hard for so many years and just felt like, ‘Well, why not?'”
Beyonce also covers the “Music & Style” July issue of W Magazine. To learn more details about all the interviews, visit the sites of the above mentioned magazines.
