The stunning “Modern Family” actress Sofia Vergara has been announced as the new brand ambassador of CoverGirl. The 38-year-old beautiful actress shared this fantastic news via Twitter and Facebook, uploading a few behind-the-scene photos from the first shooting. The Colombian actress wrote on Twitter: “[I’m] so happy to be the new CoverGirl!” She is now the successor of Taylor Swift, Drew Barrymore, Halle Berry, Ellen DeGeneres, Queen Latifah, and Dania Ramirez, who also successfully presented the brand before.

“Hola! Can’t hold this secret any longer! I am the new @COVERGIRL and I am shooting my first ad today! I’m so honored to be part of this amazing group of women. There’s a cover girl in all of us. What makes you a COVERGIRL? Check me out on set,” Sofia Vergara wrote on Facebook.
About her collaboration, Sofia admitted to the People: “It feels amazing. I’ve always wanted to be a CoverGirl. I always loved seeing the pictures of the campaigns in magazines.”

No one doubts that she’ll look amazing in all the photos from the advertising campaign, as she is one of the sexiest and most beautiful women in the world. Maybe for this she is responsible for her Latin genes. About this matter she told the People: When you grow up, you look up to girls in the magazines, and you never think you’re going to be that pretty, or that well made-up, or that glamorous. I love that I have the Latin flavor; Latin girls can relate to me, see what I’m wearing, see my makeup, my hairstyle.”
Sofia also admits that she feels extremely honored for this suggestion: “I have loved playing with makeup ever since I was a little girl. And now, I am so honored to join the line up of extraordinary women that are and have been CoverGirls, and to be a part of a brand that is so committed to helping women look and feel beautiful.”
The first campaigns featuring Sofia Vergara are supposed to be launched in January 2012. We’ll impatiently wait to once again admire her divine beauty and great acting and modeling talent.
