David Beckham continues his successful partnership with Swedish high street store H&M, creating a new Fall 2013 collection. Expanding what began as just an underwear line to include loungewear and more, David says that his new designs take him back to his roots because the pieces were photographed in an old East End changing room that reminds him of his early sporting years which hold many good memories. The retired soccer star commented:
”I love the heritage athletic style of the new pieces in my Bodywear collection at H&M. The vests, pyjama bottoms and raglan-sleeve tops are already wardrobe favourites for me that I know I’ll wear all season long. It was great to shoot them in an old-fashioned East End changing room. It was like I had gone right back to my roots.”
The collection includes underwear, casual vests, loungewear and nightwear. The 38-year-old proves he’s still got a great body, showing off his arm tattoos as he poses in the new designs. The new collection will be available from the H&M menswear departments of 2,800 H&M stores worldwide, in 49 different countries. The new pieces will also be available online via H&M’s store.
