Well, it’s safe to say, that the Gucci fall/winter campaign for 2011/2012 was a big success. The new campaign was indeed exquisite and amazing, full of charm and elegance; as always Gucci had yet another success in bringing out the sexy, thriving, provocative look that we all love and adore. What’s worth mentioning is that the new campaign was in some ways a birthday celebration: this year the legendary Gucci brand is celebrating its 90th anniversary.
The campaign was a big hit, models Abbey Lee Kershaw, Joan Smalls, Emily Baker, Sigrid Agren, Anthon Wellsjo, Duco Ferwerda and Lenz Von Johnston represent the new season with great elegance and a hint of retro seduction. The collection featured silk chiffon gowns, jersey dresses, wide sleeve blouses with scarves, wide flared pants, python-luxurious leather handbags, python heels, fur scarves and jackets, vintage looking sunglasses and hats, inspired by the style of the 70’s.
As you look through the ad, you can’t stop being surprised by the unique style that Gucci always delivers; it offers sexy, stylish clothes and accessories merged with seductive catwalk style that we see in the photos (and if I may add, the models are doing a perfect job – with the amazing photographers great background lighting the video turned out to be mind-blowing). The 70’s style is intricately transformed to something of a kind and it’s most certainly mesmerizing. Gucci’s campaign was indeed a success.
