Rebelling against the stark minimalism that washed over the catwalks for season upon season recently, these designers have gone all out to celebrate their logos, signature patterns and everything else that makes them unique. Splashing their logos on t-shirts, reinterpreting them to create new prints and even spraying them on graffiti inspired backpacks, these luxurious designers proudly showed off their names this season. Chanel’s head designer Karl Lagerfeld enthusiastically displayed the fashion house’s famous double ‘CC’ logo all over the handbags and backpacks seen on the sporty-inspired and artistic catwalk show.
Versace opted to add their name to some rock’n’roll inspired vintage looking t-shirts which were teamed with skinny sheer-panel jeans and heels for a slightly 70s inspired look, albeit with a glamorous modern update. Missoni cut and paste their name to create a striking print which was splashed on brightly coloured dresses, kaftans and more.
