David Beckham is slowly stepping into the fashion world: he’s already completed several successful underwear/loungewear collaborations with H&M and now he’s taking his design work a step further with a new capsule collection in collaboration with British biker label Belstaff. David is the current face of the label’s campaign and his designs are set to land in stores early next year.

The campaign (above) was shot by Peter Lindbergh and was created to evoke “the spirit of a band of brothers traveling across the English countryside.”

The collection will be comprised of nine “easy-to-ride-in pieces” including a gray-blue leather biker jacket, a red biker jacket, twill riding pants, leather pants, and a shoulder bag. The designs were inspired by classic biker style such as the rugged fashion choices of icons Steve McQueen and Paul Newman.

Each design will come with a vintage ‘Beckham for Belstaff’ badge, which according to him, was actually chosen by his daughter Harper:

“I had a number of badges to choose from, I laid them all out in front of Harper and she picked it.”

David Beckham for Belstaff lands in March 2014 both online and in stores.
