When one of the most beloved Hollywood couples, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, became parents exactly a month ago, on January 7, 2012, everyone was impatient to see their tiny miracle, baby girl Blue Ivy Carter. So the couple decided to open the doors to public and reveal the first photos of their bundle of joy.

Immediately after the birth of their daughter, the couple opened a website dedicated to Blue Ivy, where they themselves posted the first photos of the baby for free, instead of selling them to tabloids. Certainly a generous act from Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
The photos leaked show the baby sleeping and in the company of her mom and dad. We also have the chance to take a sneak peek into the couple’s home.
In addition to the photos, the brief editorial features a message from the couple, which reads: “We welcome you to share our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives. The Carter family.”

According to celebrity news, after the birth of their first baby, Beyoncé and Jay-Z decided to file an application with the US Patent and Trademark office to have full ownership of their daughter’s unique name, and thus to prevent the use of the name for any commercial products. As soon as the application is approved, they will be able to use their daughter’s name as a trademark.
The family attorney, Vikki Ziegler told to MTV News: “Seeking the trademark forestalls competitors from using the child’s name and or third parties from attempting to sell the baby’s name back to the couple. They are likely trying to protect what they rightfully own or created, shall we say, by trademarking Blue Ivy’s name.”
Agree that it’s a unique name! And agree that the baby is ultimately cute! 🙂
