Gwyneth Paltrow has upped her fashion ante as of late: she’s already collaborated with Stella McCartney and Matthew Williamson for limited edition designs available through her Goop website – check out the sweater from the Matthew Williamson collaboration here. Now, she’s launching a new collection just in time for Christmas with the help of Michael Kors.
The actress hand-picked a number of the designer’s accessories to be sold as part of the collection, and it will also feature several items of clothing – revamped versions of Paltrow’s favourites by the designer including a cashmere cape, a peacoat and a turtleneck. Speaking on the idea behind their efforts, Kors says that Gwyneth had a great idea to reissue some amazing classic designs:
“We started talking about the idea that when you buy something, you often don’t know that it’s going to turn out to be your favorite piece. Inevitably designers don’t make it again and, she said, ‘It could drive you crazy.'”
