Rising actress Quvenzhané Wallis may be just 10-years-old, but it hasn’t stopped her burgeoning acting career – and now she has even landed her first fashion-related role as the face of Armani’s junior campaign. Giorgio Armani has spoken on selecting the young talent for the new images, stating that despite her young age, he believes she is a remarkable person that really stood out to him:

”Quvenzhané is so talented despite her young age. She is a child who has the natural ability to play many different roles. Her kindness, curiosity and openness toward others really struck me, as they are all traits that I admire. It is for this very reason that I wanted her to be the face of Armani Junior.”

Quvenzhané is soon set to appear in a new film adaption of ‘Annie’ alongside Jamie Fox. She enthuses that she was very thrilled to be selected for the new campaign and felt a rush of exhilaration when she found out the good news:

”I felt the same excitement when I got cast for a major film. Me? Wow. My friends are going to want to borrow all my clothes now, for sure.”

This isn’t the first time the budding actress has worn an Armani design – the Italian design house previously created a custom design for her to wear to the Oscars and she says it made her feel amazing on the night:

”I was honoured to wear his custom gown to the Oscars. It made me feel like a princess. When I saw Mr. Armani’s Privé show in New York, the dresses were so pretty… I had too many favourites. Afterwards when I met him, I realised Mr. Armani is such a nice man.”
