Outspoken rapper M.I.A.  has frequently worn Versace designs throughout her career including many pieces from the amazing archives created by the fashion house’s founder Gianni Versace, so it makes perfect sense that she’s is set to collaborate with the label. M.I.A. has just revealed that she’s the latest creative to design pieces for the Versus Versace line, following in the footsteps of J.W. Anderson who previously designed a capsule collection. She confirmed the upcoming design project but declined to speak on the details as of yet, besides that it would be unveiled in two weeks time. She simply commented:

“I have a collaboration with Versace coming out in two weeks.”

We can expect plenty of bright shades and bold patterns if her own personal style is anything to go by. This collaboration has been rumored to happen since late last year, but now we finally have a rough date for the debut, although there is no telling what kind of presentation or unveiling the label has in store for the line as they passed up the chance to show off the collection as part of the recent Fashion Weeks.
