British sports star David Beckham has teamed up with heritage label Belstaff to create a capsule collection of leather motorcycle designs. David, who has previously fronted campaigns for the company, comments that the line has been designed to reflect his love for vintage biker clothing. He explains that he sourced much of his inspiration from his own vintage collection and he also believes that each design works with the others in harmony, while he personally enjoys wearing his own pieces regularly. David commented on finding his own inspiration:

”My moto capsule collection is a reflection of what I wear day to day when I’m biking or relaxing. I buy a lot of vintage pieces and my collection reflects that feel. It all fits together and I wear every item in it.”

Explaining why he said yes to working with the company on a capsule fashion line, David says that he has always been fond of the label’s biker designs and already owns several pieces in his personal colllection. He is also an avid fan of motorbikes and believes it just worked out perfectly as a collaboration:

”Deciding to work with Belstaff was the easiest decision to make, as I already have a few vintage Belstaff classic jackets in my wardrobe. That, coupled with the fact I’m a biker, made it a perfect fit.”

The new designs are set to hit stores from today (10th of June). The designs start at $95 for a basic T-shirt to $695 for boots and $1,950 for a leather jacket.
