Russian editor Miroslava Duma is always one of the most interestingly dressed people at any Fashion Week event. She has spent the last week in Paris at the Autumn/Winter 2013 Couture Shows and her style has been nothing short of impressive all throughout each show, event and party which she has attended. Her quirky, colourful style is feminine and flattering, and while it stands out, it is never too far over the top. She balances casual pieces with an elegant touch and rarely makes a style mistake.
Taking a pair of simple denim shorts, she managed to create a gorgeous outfit for the Chanel show, pairing them with a breton stripe t-shirt, Chanel jacket and black heels – it was a unique twist on the classic jacket made famous first by Coco Chanel, and had a breezily cool, relaxed vibe. Another brilliant look was the ensemble she carefully put together for a Fendi store launch which also took place during the week. She wore a very simple nude top tucked in to gorgeous tan leather cropped trousers, completing the minimal look with red lips and coordinating shoes – simple but so effective and she has attentively mixed materials for maximum effect.
Miroslava’s bright style is all about form-fitting structure that isn’t too fussy. A block colour sleeveless shift dress in an attention-grabbing shade is the best way to channel her style, or for the brave, try out a crop top and high-waisted pencil skirt combination in a matching print – just add heels and a clutch for the perfect modern evening look.
