It’s quite popular among famous fashion designers to launch their signature scents, like Balenciaga, Hermes, Chloe, Christian Dior or Armani. Fashion guru Elie Saab is turning his hand to a new sphere and is getting ready to launch his first signature fragrance, titled Elie Saab Le Parfum. The name of Elie Saab is undoubtedly popular in the fashion industry and since beauty isn’t concluded only in fashion, the famous designer decided to make a big step, launching his own perfume.
Elie Saab’s perfume is designed in collaboration with Shiseido’s Beauté Prestige International. According to Nathalie Helloin Kamel, VP of Parfums Issey Miyake and Elie Saab at BPI, the goal of BPI is to “do our best to put his spirit into a bottle”. The ad campaign of the fragrance is fronted by Anja Rubik.
The fragrance is meant to evoke all the beauty and elegance of a woman, who wears an Elie Saab dress with great pleasure and pride. The fragrance is created by famous perfumer Francis Kurkdjian and is described as a floral-solar-woody scent, which seems to take you on a dreamy journey in a second. The notes of orange blossom, jasmine, rose honey, patchouli and cedar wood altogether arouse a feeling of seductiveness, femininity and desire.
The transparent, classic, elegant architectural glass bottle itself appears to be so feminine, gentle and dreamy, designed by Sylvie de France. The beige color of the bottle reminds you of the travertine marble and chocolate brown furniture present in Elie Saab’s stores. The white details symbolize white wedding dresses he designs, while the gold touches stand for the sunny warmth in Lebanon, the designer’s country of origin.
Elie Saab Le Parfum will be available from July in France, U.S, United Kingdom, Spain, Germany and Lebanon, and it’ll appear in other countries in September. The fragrance will come in 30, 50 and 100 ml of EDP and the brand will also feature additional products such as body cream, body milk, shower cream and deodorant. Prices are $60 for 30ml and $87 for 50ml Eau de Parfum, while the Body Cream is $70 for 150ml.
