Just when we thought beauty brands thought of all the innovative ideas they possibly could, they surprise us with yet another new product. There are plenty of unique top coats on the market already, but now YSL is launching a collection to rival them all. The brand has introduced a line of 4 polishes that are each made up of 3 separate finishes within the same bottle.
Each bottle from the YSL La Laque Couture Tie & Dye Top Coat Collection contains a sparkle polish, a sheer solid polish, and a clear glossy top coat. Wearers are supposed to pull the brush out of the bottle as is and swipe over their nails to provide a “gradation effect.” The bottles can also be shaken and turned into a even shimmering top coat.
You can choose from Cool Coat, a coral hued polish trio, Pop Coat, a bright pink polish, Hip Coat, a violet version, or Ice Coat, a royal blue colorway. Each top coat can be used alone for a “sheer glittery result on the nails,” or can be paired with YSL’s existing nail polish shades Corail Divin, Rose Renaissance, Violine Surrealiste, and Bleu Majorelle to add extra dimension to the plain polishes. Each bottle costs $25 and will be available starting next month.
What do you think the latest offering from YSL Beauty? Will you try out this tie dye look on your nails or will you stick to a more traditional manicure?
